Dr. Mills Named Vice President of ASAPS
We are proud to announce that our board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Daniel Mills, has been named the new Vice President of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS). ASAPS is the most elite and prestigious organization for board-certified, Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons in the U.S.
Dr. Mills has previously served as Secretary and then Treasurer of ASAPS and says he feels honored to have his colleagues and fellow ASAPS members, who he believes to be the finest Plastic Surgeons in the world, show their continued support for his vertical projection through the ASAPS leadership ranks. He has received much valued education, support and training from the ASAPS organization, and he is both privileged and committed to giving back to the organization while extending a hand to new Plastic Surgeons.
As Vice President of ASAPS, Dr. Mills will be supporting the President in his term goals, as well as stepping in to back him up when he is unavailable for organizational tasks. This will help prepare Dr. Mills for his term as President of ASAPS.
Throughout his term, Dr. Mills’ top goals will continue to center around patient safety and improving surgical outcomes. He believes that by developing more specific and aesthetic-based statistics through the Database he is putting together with ASAPS, the members of ASAPS will have much better information to develop superior standards of care that will improve patient safety and satisfaction. Dr. Mills also has a passion for mentoring up-and-coming Plastic Surgeons. He is very involved in developing a strong Aesthetic Fellowship program for new Plastic Surgeons so that they will appreciate and pursue Board Certification and ASAPS membership to keep the quality of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery high for patients.
At the Aesthetic Plastic Surgical Institute, our entire staff feels privileged to work alongside a surgeon so devoted to bettering the level of care plastic surgery patients receive not only in our practice, but in practices all across the nation.
Congratulations, Dr. Mills!
