Dr. Mills Recently Voted President-Elect of ASAPS

We are thrilled to announce that our board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Dan Mills, was recently voted the new President-Elect of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS). Representing over 2,600 board-certified plastic surgeons, ASAPS is considered the nation’s most esteemed organization for physicians who specialize in cosmetic procedures of the face, body, and breasts.

Having previously served as Secretary, Treasurer, and then Vice President of ASAPS, Dr. Mills says he is truly thankful for the continued support of his plastic surgery colleagues during his ascension through the society’s leadership ranks. As President-Elect, he will be working with the President and other members of the ASAPS Executive Committee to promote and support current projects, while also setting the agenda and goals for his Presidency next year.

Dr. Mills’ mission as President-Elect is to support the core goals of ASAPS in patient safety, improve the outcomes for aesthetic plastic surgery patients, and promote better education in plastic surgery for both patients and new doctors who will be joining the ranks of ASAPS as board-certified plastic surgeons. Overall, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and Dr. Mills are committed to mentoring new plastic surgeons in order to maintain and raise the standard of patient care, as well as to build awareness so that prospective patients have access to the information necessary for them to choose only board certified, qualified surgeons.
