Jeuveau™ is a new cosmetic injectable treatment that is FDA-approved to address furrows and creases between the eyebrows. What Can Jeuveau™ (#NEWTOX) Do for Me?
Jeuveau’s primary ingredient is a refined form of botulinum toxin type A, which can temporarily prevent muscles between the eyebrows from contracting and causing wrinkles and creases to prominently appear in this area. Jeuveau™ offers a number of elements, including:
- Improvement of skin affected by glabellar lines (frown lines) and furrows between the eyebrows
- Can be effective for frown lines that are quite deep and severe in nature
- Results can yield much smoother skin and a more refreshed, relaxed look in the treatment area
- No recovery period is typically necessary after the procedure

What Is the Jeuveau™ Procedure Like?
Jeuveau™ treatment is often very quick, and can be performed right here at our office. The Jeuveau™ solution will be injected into the targeted area with an extremely fine needle. We can apply a topical anesthetic to the area to minimize any potential discomfort from the injections. In most cases, the entire Jeuveau™ procedure can be completed in as little as 15 to 30 minutes.
While patients can expect some mild redness and swelling right after treatment, these side effects are typically very brief. Most individuals who undergo Jeuveau™ procedures do not require downtime following the procedure, and are often able to get back to their normal routines immediately.
How Long Can I Expect Jeuveau™ Results to Last?
The results of Jeuveau™ usually take about four to seven days to become noticeable. Most individuals experience the effects of Jeuveau™ for approximately three to four months. Once the results begin to fade, occasional “touch-up” Jeuveau™ injections can be performed to maintain the outcome for extended periods.
