Plastic Surgeon in Laguna Beach to Serve as President-Elect of ASAPS
Board-certified members of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery have voted Dr. Daniel C. Mills to be the distinguished organization’s next President-Elect.
Laguna Beach, CA — Orange County plastic surgeon Daniel C. Mills, MD was recently voted President-Elect of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS). Renowned as one of the most prestigious aesthetic surgery organizations in the U.S., ASAPS is comprised of more than 2,600 board certified plastic surgeons specializing in the latest, most advanced facial rejuvenation, body contouring, and breast enhancement procedures available.
A past President of the California Society of Plastic Surgeons, Dr. Mills is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Loma Linda University School of Medicine as well as a Plastic Surgery Representative for the Children’s Hospital of Orange County at Mission Hospital. He is in private practice in Laguna Beach, CA where he offers a comprehensive span of surgical and nonsurgical cosmetic treatments for the face, breasts, and body. Throughout his career, Dr. Mills has authored and published several book chapters and papers regarding his innovative surgical techniques, and he has been invited to lecture at esteemed plastic surgery meetings all over the world.
As President-Elect of ASAPS, Dr. Mills says his goals include backing the society’s primary objectives, improving the cosmetic outcomes aesthetic surgery patients are able to achieve, and advocating plastic surgery education for both patients and physicians who will one day become members of ASAPS as board certified plastic surgeons. In addition, he is dedicated to instructing new plastic surgeons on various ways to improve care, as well as ensuring prospective patients have access to the information necessary for them to select only board certified plastic surgeons for their cosmetic needs and goals.

About Daniel C. Mills, MD, FACS
Dr. Mills obtained a degree in chemistry at Walla Walla University prior to earning his medical degree from the Loma Linda University School of Medicine. Subsequently, he continued on to fulfill his Board of Plastic Surgery requirements and complete his requisite three-year training in General Surgery at Wright State University. He then completed his Plastic Surgery Residency at the Medical College of Ohio as well as additional Aesthetic Plastic Surgery fellowship training in Phoenix, AZ. In addition to being certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Mills is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He also currently serves as the technology editor of the Aesthetic Surgery Journal (ASJ).
