Plastic Surgeon in OC Provides Overview of Skin Rejuvenation with CUTERA Lasers

The CUTERA® Laser Genesis™, he adds, can often diminish the appearance of scars, sun and age spots, wrinkles, rosacea and redness, uneven skin tone, and dilated pores.
Regarding what to expect during and after CUTERA® laser treatments, Dr. Mills says both Excel V™ Laser and Laser Genesis™ procedures can generally be performed in-office in a relatively short amount of time, and most patients experience only mild discomfort. Following treatment, he notes that recovery and downtime typically lasts anywhere from three to seven days, and some bruising, redness, and/or swelling may occur in the targeted areas. Patients should avoid exposure to the sun during this time, the Orange County plastic surgeon adds, and a series of follow-up treatments may be necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
